Administrative Assistant duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Research Department through a variety of tasks related to organisation and communication.

Ability to effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all Administrative Assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a on time.


An administrative assistant will need to:

  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Take minutes of meetings in English.
  • Maintain contact lists.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and journal submissions.
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports for the department.
  • Provide information by answering questions and requests via email, telephone or face-to-face enquiries.
  • Assist with planning and executing multiple projects.
  • Maintain computer and manual filing systems.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.


  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Czech and English.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and G-drive.

Hours: 16 hours a week

Location: Prague, Czech Republic

Starting Date: Immediately
